Pinks stunt ends at hospital
Pink has been rushed to hospital, after a stunt involving a steel wire harness dragged her off the front of the stage and slammed her into a crowd barrier. The pop star had done the routine many times before, however it seems she may not have been attached to the harness correctly, which caused the stunt to go wrong.
Pink has now tweeted from hospital, claiming to have no broken bones, but still feeling very sore. “Ok all my lovers out there - nothings broken, no fluid in the lungs, just seriously sore. I made that barricade my B*tch!!! Thanx nurnberg :( “
Living in a society where camera phones are ever present, someone caught the moment the stunt went horrifically wrong on camera and you can see it below! It seems to us one of the dancers did not manage to get the rear cable attached in time before the tension was activated.
After receiving x-rays in the early hours of this morning, all Pink seems to be worried about is whether her fight with the barrier “looked cool”, well judge for yourselves below!

Courtney Love has a new blog!
Wow, Courtney Love has launched a blog. I mean seriously it is truly staggering that someone that messed up even knows how to use a computer, let alone jump on the blog bandwagon about three years too late. Nevertheless we should probably review it, although I’m not really expecting anything worthwhile.
The blog called “What Courtney Wore Today” is hosted by Tumblr, while that kind of defaults effort on her part, it is going to be a gold mine for Tumblr. Just think of all the lower end demographic that will be piling on to this blog, come next week. It’s quite confusing who actually writes the blog, since Courtney only launched this a couple of days ago there is already 11 pages of content.
Then again, the blog posts are that accurate that in a post of Courtney Love wearing a striking lightning dress the post reads “British Femme designer, and we cannot figure out whom she is”, which seems like a really worth while post to us. If you are that unexcited about the designer you can’t actually remember their name, are you really that interested in posting it?
Another point maybe this caption “Baleneciaga pinafore w Chloe blouse. London. Last month or so” First things first, again pretty vague, but more importantly, when you cant spell the designers that you are wearing, for example “Balenciaga” it might be worth while to stop drinking for a while and concentrate?
In short, from what we can tell, a stream of unconnected images, linked together by short and pretty damn vague, inaccurate ramblings. That is not saying this won’t get a huge amount of traffic, just not from us, or anyone who is vaguely interested in fashion.

Jesus always said he would return, and while thousands around the world think their latest burn toast or cheesy wheat snack has turned into his re-incarnation, we all know Jesus is much cooler than that. No, you see when Jesus returns his attention would turn to Playboy for sure, I mean you don’t become the son of God and not have connections.
Thing is, this month, Jesus has returned to earth as he appears in the Portuguese version of Playboy. The idea was to mark Nobel winner Jose Saramago’s death with inspiration taken from his novel ” The Gospel According to Jesus Christ” which references Jesus as a flawed human being.
Jesus Christ wasn’t a stranger to controversy two thousand years back, so he probably won’t be too surprised that the Playboy company plans to shut down the Portuguese version. Yes, Jesus Christ really can cause that much of a stir, apart from raising from the dead and everything.
Playboy Enterprises stated: “We did not see or approve the cover and pictorial in the July issue of Playboy Portugal. It is a shocking breach of our standards, and we would not have allowed it to be published if we had seen it in advance. As a result of this and other issues with the Portuguese publisher, we are in the process of terminating our agreement.”
To be honest though when most magazines are folding due to poor circulation and readership, when your magazine folds because it is too controversial for todays society, you know you went out in style…

This month V magazine have launched the worlds first scratch off magazine covers.Typical of V magazine there never was going to be a soft approach to this either, in true signature, controversial style, the scratch off V reveals the featured model’s nudity.
The limited edition covers of 1,000 per model are part of the “Sexy Body Issue”, which were shot by Mario Sorrenti. The cover features iconic models such as Lily Donaldson, Adriana Lima Eniko Mihalik, Isabeli Fontana and Natasha Poly.
This is a stunning, creative and interesting concept, I suppose we would not expect less from V magazine. However with the magazine industry in turmoil, is this a way to bring more excitement and interest to the magazine industry, or just helpless gimmicks? The year 2010 has already seen augmented reality, 3d and now scratch covers, it does bring memories of a time when the music industry tried gimmicks every few weeks, and well, we know where that got them.

Jean Paul Gaultier & Dita Von Teese.
Jean Paul Gaultier showed just why he is one of the worlds greatest fashion designers this week at the Paris Couture shows. The iconic designer created a simply stunning mechanical corset for burlesque star Dita Von Teese, who finished off the show.
The whole piece had a very skeletal feel, with sculpted bone styled pieces covering her modesty. The garment seemed to blend elegance and a sense of darkness, created from patent leather along with the whole item being encrusted with jewels. The back of the corset was as visually stunning at the front with a delicately styled and ever glamourous vertebrae effect running up Dita Von Teese’s spine.
The rest of Jean Paul Gaultier’s collection showcased a range of silk turbans and copious amounts of leather. Gaultier used exaggerated silhouettes and his outstanding creative vision, as usual.

Breaking News SELFRIDGES HANG MCQUEEN
We have just been passed an image from the Manchester branch of Selfridges and can only express our reaction as disgusted, appalled and down right angry. As I’m sure you all know Lee Alexander McQueen passed away earlier this year, we were in Japan at the time and it was unbelievable (try finding an english language newspaper over there)…
But as soon as we returned we found tributes everywhere. Like the LFW British Fashion Council tribute board, which was an amazing thought, the entire fashion pack wrote notes and farewells to the iconic designer, even Paul Smith and Erin O Conner joined in. Not too far away at the LFW On Off shows an amazing showcase of McQueen’s work was shown on a tribute featuring nearly 100 iPods. All of which was touching and great to see.
Unlike what Selfridges have just produced, yes, you can see this correctly. This is a window display of a McQueen designed outfit HANGING from what looks like a hangman’s frame. We’ve never seen something so disrespectful. Too soon, Selfridges, far too soon.
The fashion pack are already as disgusted as us with comments like ” I don’t understand how this got approved? ever?! ” neither do we. In fact if Selfridges would like to issue either a press apology or explanation to this horrific display we would love to print it. (gossip@stylenoir.co.uk). We wonder if the merchandiser that created this will be disciplined, or perhaps, sacked. Just a suggestion.
Lady Gaga has yet again caused controversy (does she ever stop?) by playing John Lennon’s famous white piano, which has outraged Beatles fans worldwide. Sean Lennon invited Lady Gaga to play the piano stating “Pianos are meant to be played”. The piano was originally a gift from John Lennon to his mother.
But it seems Beatles fans are a force to be reckoned with, Sean was forced to remove the photo of Gaga playing the piano from a barrage of criticism that he recieved. The consensus of Beatles Fans was that Lady Gaga was not worthy to play the iconic piano, others thought it was just Gaga trying to “stir the pot” once again.
Sean Lennon defended Lady Gaga, who is an accomplished pianist stating : lighten up, he (John Lennon) was not uptight the way you seem to be… “Why is everyone so uptight, what should we do, lock it away in a dusty room?”
Lady Gaga fans retaliated in a positive manner, backing the singer. Most of whom at the time were camping outside in New York, outside The Today Show studios, for a glimpse of the popstar.
So who is more committed, Beatles fans or Lady Gaga fans? Only one way to find out…. fight!

Katy Perry has released possibly the raunchiest photoshoot she has ever produced, for the cover of Esquire magazine. The pop-star poses semi naked in a number of provocative shots as well as giving a seriously aggressive and revealing interview.
Katy Perry repeated references how she ‘tamed’ Russell Brand, with strong statements such as ” I always needed someone stronger than me and I am, like, a f****** strong elephant of a woman. ” and apparently ” You’ve met your match m***** f***** ” as she threw a plastic water bottle at him at their first meeting. Which is all very different from the days of her pop princess image for sure.
We can’t help but think that maybe it’s the other way round, with Katy Perry becoming ever more controversial and provocative, something that she obviously recieved from Russell Brand, the master of scandal.

Yazbukey, the accessories brand is current celebrating its 10th Birthday. To celebrate, their latest collection for 2010, is themed appropriately, from vibrant playing cards, to hanging birthday cake candles. But we’re more interested in the references to pop culture the design duo have produced.
Within the collection are some famous faces from the world of music and fashion, these manifest themselves as brooches and necklaces and include icons such as Karl Lagerfeld and Michael Jackson, as well as Princess Diana and Lady Gaga.
These are not tiny subtle pieces either, just look at the size of the Lagerfeld brooch left! We simply adore these, not only for the design aesthetic, but being in your face pop culture at its very best.
It is not just us who are fans either, with the likes of V magazine, Vogue, Self Service, Elle and Purple Magazine all showcasing Yazbukey’s works over the past year, you can tell they have a strong following.
So forget wearing your heart on your sleeve, try wearing Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson or Princess Diana on your chest instead.

Here at Stylenoir we are actually decent fans of Lindsay Lohan, shocking I know. But the simple fact is, no matter what she gets up to, people always want to read about her, follow her around ( those pesky paparazzi ) and follow her fashion choices.
So, when we saw this Vogue Latin America cover we had opened jaws, first at the fact of how good Lohan looked, and then at the fact it wasn’t her. Ladies and Gentleman I think we just found the non-evil Lohan twin.
The model is actually Shannon Click, who incidentally looks absolutely nothing like Lindsay Lohan in real life. However in this cover photo it simply looks like the two were separated at birth! Maybe it’s the blonde hair, the slight change of facial structure or just the abundance of leopard print, but the two look identical. Just check our little comparison picture on the left!
What do you all think? Do the pair look like they could be long lost sisters, or are they nothing alike? We think it is almost as if Shannon Click could be the polished, alter-ego of Lohan, just like “Jo Calderone” and Lady Gaga.
